There are four ASAA membership categories - Ordinary Members (waged); Students; Retirees (unwaged); and Corporate/Organizations.  Please choose the membership category that best suits your status for the current financial year.

Within each membership category, subscriptions are offered at two different rates – one for online access to the association’s journal Asian Studies Review (ASR) and one for print (hardcopy) subscription to  ASR. Members who opt to receive ASR online can choose multi-year memberships (1, 2 or 3 years).

ASAA also offers a joint subscription with the Japanese Studies Association of Australia (JSAA) and the Malaysia and Singapore Studies Association (MASSA). The combined subscription provides a 10% discount on the applicable membership fee offered by both associations. Joint subscription is only available for online access to ASR.
