Long Distance (12-15 years): 200M SWIM, 4KM CYCLE, 1KM RUN
Minimum Age: 7 years+ calculated as at 31/12/2023
Individual and Team options available, plus a Parent's Wave option for the Short Distance.

ABOUT THE PARENTS WAVE:
The short distance includes the family wave which allows parents/guardians* of participants to swim alongside their child and assist in transition. Chaperones must wait in transition during the cycle leg, and then can join the child for the run leg and finish line moment.
*Limit to one adult entry per registered child, adult must be 18 years or over to be included.
HOW TEAMS WORK
Teams can be made up of 2 or 3 kids. In a team of 3 kids: 1 person swims, 1 person bikes and 1 person runs. You each take turns so that only one person is on course at any given time. In a team of 2 people, one person does 2 legs of the race and the other person does one. If you want to do all 3 legs of the race, you’ll need to enter as an individual. When registering your team, make sure to assign each person their role/s.
You’ll pay for the team and complete registration once ALL team members are in the system and have roles assigned. During the race you swap over in transition. On the last lap of the run leg, all team members can meet at the ‘team meeting point’ to cross the finish line together!
If your child wants to do the whole race themselves, they must be registered as an Individual.
