IMPORTANT: Before registering, please ensure you have provided evidence of your Official name and Date of Birth into the AFF Portal, and it has been verified. (It can take up to 48 hours to verify)
Acceptable evidence includes one of the following:
- Fencers Passport
- Fencers birth certificate
- Fencers visa
- Fencers Naturalised certificate
To upload these documents, please follow these steps:
1. login into the AFF Admin portal (https://portal.fencing.org.au/)
2. navigate in the menus to 'Details -> My Documents -> Passport / Citizenship / Permanent Residency"
3. Select the "Add New" button
4. enter the Expiry date of the evidence, (if it does not ahve one, please enter the current date)
5. enter the Date of Birth as noted on the evidence
6. enter the gender as noted on the evidence
7. select a scan or photo of the evidence for upload, showing your name and DOB.
8. select "Save"
If the system advises you are not eligible for the event you have selected, please confirm you have provided one of the documents above into the portal and it has been verified, and you have a current competitive membership with your association. If both of these are correct, please contact support@fencing.org.au for assistance.
Early bird registrations will be accepted until the 24th June 2023, after which they will be considered a Normal entry, attracting an additional charge. (no exceptions): note the "Fees and Charges" information on the AFF website.
By participating in this event, you agree that you have been warned of the potential of being selected for anti-doping testing and you will comply with anti-doping testing if required. The testing process and your rights and responsibilities as an athlete are outlined in the ASADA General Testing Guidelines.
