ROAD SAFETY WEEK WEBINAR  12pm - 1pm Thursday 18 May Online via Teams

WestCycle is pleased to partner with PBF Australia in hosting a free PBF Injury Prevention webinar during National Road Safety Week. Join us online for a lunchtime discussion about the 2023 Road Safety Week theme: “Drive So Others Survive.”   Jodie Nikolic from the Paraplegic Benefit Fund will share her story of how her life changed forever when she was struck by a motor vehicle whilst cycling resulting in permanent paraplegia. Unfortunately, accidents happen too often without resolve and Jodie’s goal is to emphasise what can happen if drivers don’t take care on the road.   WestCycle will present its advocacy work and best practice strategies that improve safety for people who ride bikes and use e-rideables. WestCycle Ride Secure members have PBF membership automatically included in their membership, meaning that if they have an accident that leads to paraplegia, they receive a pay out of up to $250,000 and can access ongoing specialist support from PBF.
