There have been a few changes to previous years, so we urge members to read the AVSL Playoffs FAQ Document linked on the event page to ensure that you understand the rules.
To be eligible, athletes must have a recorded performance in that event (or in an event listed as similar - refer AVSL rule 6.3) at AVSL, as well as having competed in at least three (3) preliminary rounds of AVSL. Athletes that have eligibility to participate at an individual event at AVSL Playoffs are eligible to participate in any relays held at AVSL Playoffs.
Members can check their eligibility using the feature on ResultsHub. Click on Series>AVSL>Eligibility (2nd blue button on the LHS). No invitational or non-eligible athletes will be able to enter the playoffs. Further to this, athletes MUST compete at their clubs HOME Venue unless otherwise approved by Athletics Victoria. The entry system will not allow you to enter a venue other than your own. Requests for exceptions can be made to the AV team here.
Entries are taken as in all previous rounds with Bendigo managing their own entries, with the entries opening on a Wednesday at 5pm and closing at 8:pm on following Wednesday. respectively.
Entry is only by this on-line system.
Relay for the day will be 4 x 400m and scoring.
Cost: $0 for AV Registered and paid AVSL package
$26 Open AV registered but no AVSL package
$21 Under 20 AV registered but no AVSL package
Note: Credit card charges/Booking Fee will be added to the cost.
