Please note that there are a few changes to the event this year due to the landslide on Glenraphael Drive....

The race hub and race start for this year will be at Narrow Neck lookout off Cliff Drive

We will advise more details closer to the event including where to collect your race bibs

Course changes - Due to the new start line;

  • The long course will still go to the end of the fire trail and the distance is now 24kms, and
  • The short short course is still 14kms but will have a different turn-around point

Race start is still 7.00pm

There will be no water or drink stations at the turnaround points due to very limited access

Mandatory gear now includes at least 500ml of fluid (and not just the ability to carry that amount) and we recommend carrying at least one litre of fluid

Note: All participants must not drive themselves to the start/finish line due to limited parking places but to park safely in the surrounding streets being mindful of the residents

Additionally, because conditions can be hard to predict we’ll require all runners to bring the following mandatory gear items with them to the race

Depending on the conditions on the night we will advise you of which items you need to carry (if any). If not needed the items can be stashed in the bag you take to the start line;

  • 500ml of fluid
  • A waterproof, breathable rain jacket. It must have sealed seams and a hood.
  • Emergency blanket
  • Warm hat, beanie or buff.
  • Thermal top (Long-sleeved).

We look forward to seeing you there for a great race!!!
