Orienteering Training
This instruction will prepare women and girls (minimum age 10 years) for bush navigation.
6 sessions INTENSIVE over 2 weeks

Sessions will be modified to meet the different needs and skill levels of participants.
For the more experienced, your activities and instructions will be there waiting for you! They will be adjusted week by week. There will be a focus on skills and drills rather than running a course.
If you are interested in a particular sort of training please let me know.
For the more advanced there will be at least one session on relocation - work in pairs.
You can start in your own time or work together with the group instructions.
If you are already orienteering at regular Orienteering ACT events, these sessions will give you the chance to meet and orienteer with women and girls who also love to run wild!
WHAT TO BRING:
A drink bottle, warm clothes to peel on and off as the weather and your body warm up/cool off, snacks to top up on if you find yourself getting hungry - PLUS bring a smile, to share!
Please be sure to eat a solid afternoon tea before the sessions
If you are at primary school you will need to bring a responsible adult, willing to share the fun. The responsible adult must stay.
Cost:
Covers 6 sessions of instruction PLUS entry to events listed (Valued from $21 to $45 depending on membership status).
