All nominations for entry will be entered into the Commonwealth Veteran’s event. Fencers will be required to indicate if they are available for the official team event at the time of nominating.
Selection for the team event for each weapon/gender will be based on those fencers that indicate they are available for the team event. Two fencers will be selected based on the Australian rankings as of the 8th May, with the remaining two fencers to be based on results in the individual event, from the fencers that indicate they are available.
IMPORTANT: As the Veteran Commonwealth Championships is an FIE sectioned event, all fencers must have a 2022 FIE licence before the event entry date (9 June, 2022). Information on how to obtain an FIE license is available HERE
As the Veteran Commonwealth Championships tour is combined with Senior, Junior and Cadet Commonwealth events, a tour Levy deposit of $250 will be required when nominating per event as a deposit. This amount will contribute to individual and team entries only. For clarity, it does not include the cost of travel, accommodation, or meals. Travel, accommodation, and meals will be up to the individual fencer to arrange and manage.
