Pulverise at Peacock Park is a last man standing event. That is, you have to run a 6.7km loop within the hour, every hour, until there is only one race participant left.

Pulverise at Peacock Park is being held as a fundraiser for the Laura Johnson Home, Dementia Unit.
Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia and the leading cause of death in women. There are currently an estimated 487,500 Australians living with dementia. Without a medical breakthrough, the number of people with dementia is expected to increase to almost 1.1 million by 2058.
Our goal is to raise sufficient funds to paint each door of the Laura Johnson Home Dementia Unit an individual colour to assist the residents in locating their room. Let's do our bit for the Mount Isa Community living with dementia.
Race Date and Start Location - Pulverise at Peacock Park will be held on Saturday, 18 June 2022 at Warrina Park (Peacock Park), Lake Moondarra, Mount Isa, with racing to commence at 10.00am.
If one 6.7km loop is enough for you, enter the One Hit Wonder and complete 1 untimed loop with no time limit imposed. The One Hit Wonder will commence at 3.00pm, joining the Pulverisers on loop 5.
Age - Runners must be at least 14 years of age.
Individual Entry Fee - Entry fee is $120.00
Team Entry Fee (minimum of 5, maximum of 10) - Entry fee is $100.00 per person
A team entry doesn't mean you get to run every second or third lap. All runners must complete each lap as an individual and your team member's loops will be added together. The team with the most loops will be declared the winner of the Team Category.
One Hit Wonder (1 lap only) - Entry fee is $50.00
