Metung Fun Run

PLEASE NOTE:

The Metung Fun Run is an annual fundraiser for the Metung Primary School and Lions Club of Metung, and is organised wholly by volunteers. The Metung Fun Run, its organisers, sponsors and volunteers cannot be held responsible for any damage, accident, theft or incident that may occur. Entry in all Metung Fun Run events is at your own risk, and any items left unattended on the day are done so at the owner’s risk.

IMPORTANT COVID MESSAGE:

 Following advice from the Victorian Government and the Chief Health Officer, in order to proceed, the Metung Fun Run is adhering to government regulations around vaccinations. This means that all volunteers, participants and attendees aged 16 years and over will need to provide proof of being fully vaccinated from COVID-19. Upon check-in, as part of the on-site registration process, participants will be required to show one of the following to an event volunteer:

  • Their vaccination status through the Victorian Government Service Victoria app on their smartphone (available through the Apple App Store or Google Play)
  •  A printout of their vaccination certificate; or
  •  An official letter from their doctor as evidence of a medical exemption.

 For contract tracing purposes you will also be required to check in via QR code using your smartphone or your attendance can be recorded on paper at the registration check-in table.

 We thank all participants and visitors for their adherence, understanding and patience at this time, and for helping us make the Metung Fun Run a safe and fun event.
