Introduction to Trauma Physiotherapy (2 half-days)
Dates: Wednesday 10th February, and Wednesday 17th February, 2021
Time: 1400 - 1700 (on both days)
Venue: Online (via TEAMS)
This course is aimed at new graduate physiotherapists and those with limited acute trauma experience. The content presented in this course will include basic acute trauma injury profiles and acute physiotherapy assessment and management skills.
Topics include an overview of trauma management and systems, neurological trauma, spinal trauma, bracing + orthotics, chest trauma, early rehabilitation and discharge planning.
NOTE: The course runs over two Wednesday afternoons. Each afternoon covers DIFFERENT content so attendees are encouraged to attend both sessions. You can not register for just one session (i.e. the registration fee covers whether you attend one session or both sessions). The sessions are delivered "live", and will NOT be recorded (ie. you need to "attend" during the specified times: 1400 - 1700 hours).
A more detailed course program will be posted on the website closer to the date.
A link to the seminar will be sent to you one week before the first session.
Registration Fee: $100 (inclusive of GST)
*Please note: registration closes 2 days prior to the first session: Monday 8th Feb, 2021*
