Welcome to the 2021 Swanny Ocean Classic!

In line with recent advice relating to covid in Perth we are cancelling the Swanny Ocean Classic for 2021.

 

This was not an easy decision.

 

Over the last 4 or so days we have considered various options to enable our event to go ahead, including postponing until a later date. Given the logistical complexities, timing around other swims and ongoing uncertainty around covid, we made the decision to cancel the 2021 event completely.

 

This does result in a financial hit to our surf lifesaving club but there is no practical way for it to go ahead.

 

All participants who registered will be entitled to a complete refund. We’ll be in touch in the coming days with details around this. Stay tuned.

 

The good news is that covid restrictions are easing a bit and there are some other great open water swims coming up on this beautiful coastline of ours.
