**Just an update on the Seaside Coastal/ULTRA ONE event with time change and event distance options.
Due to no registrations in the half & full marathon the ULTRA ONE is now delayed and will start at 6:00am Sun Nov 8th instead of the planned midnight start Sat.
I sent out an email yesterday advising all registered ULTRA ONE participants.
We now only have the following options.
ULTRA ONE (Sun 8th Nov 6:00am)
10km (Sun 8th Nov 8:00am)
15km DOUBLE (Sun 8th Nov 8:00am 10km + 9:45am 5km)
This is the second year of South Australia's FIRST ever "Last One Standing" concept.
**Now with an added 8:00am Sunday 10km option + 15km DOUBLE.
The double will consist of an 8:00am 10km followed by a 9:45am 5km. To enter the DOUBLE you will have to run both the 10km & 5km at the designated times. Yes it's like getting a half time break. Both your times will be added together and both male & female with the least total time will receive a small trophy as well as a finisher medal for both.

Part proceeds will go to the ACRF to help find a cure to #endcancer and to Bravehearts to help #protectkids
Every finisher of every distance at every event receives a finishers medal.
6:00am Sun ULTRA ONE - $35
8:00am Sun 10km - $20
8:00am Sun 15km DOUBLE - $30 (10km at 8:00am 5km at 9:45am)
This event also includes our second running of the popular "ULTRA ONE" - $35 (strictly limited to 20 competitors)
This type of event has been run internationally at various events for some years and was introduced with success to Australia this year.
It's a "Last One Standing" concept.
We will call this event "ULTRA ONE"
It is an approximate 4 mile or 6.5km out and back loop course where competitors get to start each loop on the hour. If you are not back and ready on the start line to start the next loop on the hour you will be eliminated. This will continue indefinitely until there is only one remaining who must also complete their final loop within the hour to be declared "ULTRA ONE" winner.
Every runner who does not finish a lap within the hour time frame will be awarded a DNF medal or trophy.
There will also be a small trophy for both the last male & female remaining in the event.
The winner will receive the "ULTRA ONE" trophy.
This is not a race but more about pacing yourself over the multiple loops every hour.
This will not be flat as we will be using the numerous stairs and ramps at the northern end of the course.
This event (ULTRA ONE) will be strictly limited to 20 competitors.
No need to go out fast because you can't build up a lead over other runners. As every new hour begins those remaining are all in equal first place in the race.
