Each workshop does have a limited capacity so please bear this in mind when allocating which committee Members to send to each from each Club. 

 

This years Conference will include 2 different streamed workshops:

Stream 1 - Sustainable Swimming Clubs: Bringing it back to basics

Benjamin Haywood is a Senior Consultant, Governance and Strategy and joined Sport Australia in July 2019. Prior to this Benjamin was the General Manager for Water Polo WA and spent 7 years in game development for the AFL, both in NSW and WA. 
Benjamin has spent time working in tertiary education, using sports education as a vehicle for student development and growth contributing to their overall student experience. His passion is the development of sport at all levels and has a qualification in both Commerce and Sports Administration, which he uses to build the capacity and capability of the sports sector across Australia. 

 

Stream 2 - Meet Manager Beginner Workshop and How to be a SunSmart Club

The first half of this session will include Chris McMillian the owner and creator of My Swim Results taking you through a workshop on Meet Manager and taking Q&A on any questions you may have come across this past season. The second half of this session will be Mark Strickland from Cancer Council WA and will be speaking on how to be a SunSmart Club.
