WOMEN'S MTB SKILL CLINICS

Throughout April and May, thanks to #thisgirlcanvic and Alpine Cycling Club, we'll be running a series of Women's MTB Skills Clinics in beautiful Bright, Vic.

With small groups, supportive instructors, and all skill levels catered for (from Beginner to Advanced), we're doing our bit to inspire women to get active and on their bikes!

The  2020 Alpine Women's MTB Series  is for female riders aged 12+ to engage or re-engage with MTB riding, to improve their skills, to get active, and to meet likeminded women in a fun, social and supportive situation.

Funded by Alpine Cycling Club and the #thisgirlcanvic campaign, the Series will feature three progressive skills clinics, where each clinic builds on the skills learnt at the previous clinic, so riders are encouraged to attend all three clinics in the series.

The decision to advertise and run these events as planned has not been taken lightly. At the time of posting, they are well within government guidelines. Of course, should the situation change, we will reassess and cancel or postpone if required (and full refunds will be provided).

In this time of such uncertainty, one thing is for sure - physical activity supports not only our mental health but our immune systems as well. Staying active in times of stress helps keep our minds clear and focused.

These events will be run responsibly, and in line with best practice guidelines, including:

- Small groups

- Cancellation of 'social lunch' portion of events

- Low-risk outdoor location

- No shared equipment
