Registrations are not open yet
Will the 2020 Mudgee Running Festival will go ahead given the coronavirus situation?
The honest answer is: we have no idea!
We hope to run our event on Aug 16 and cheer you across the finish line. But in reality, we just don’t know; the situation remains fluid, with policies and advice changing daily.
Our Early Bird entries are open through until 30 June – perhaps lock in the date, start training but wait a couple of months before registering.
If you have already registered and we need to cancel our event, our committee will have a big cry, and then we’ll refund entry fees.
We’ll keep you updated on our thoughts throughout the next couple of months, in the meantime, please remember to continually wash your hands, practice social distance and stay home if you’re feeling unwell. Let’s work as a community to keep everyone safe – and hope that we’ll be running, walking and skipping around our beautiful region in August!
The Mudgee Running Festival is well known for its relaxed friendly atmosphere, perfect for the first timer who is looking for a no-pressure race, yet still a course that is challenging to the experienced marathoner.
Events include a Marathon, Half Marathon, 5km Fun Run/Walk & 10km Run, all held on the one day – Sunday, August 16th.
The longer courses weave through the picturesque Mudgee valley; past vineyards, wineries, farmland, grazing cattle, and a band of friendly and enthusiastic volunteers cheering you on! Entrants in the half and full marathon who register by 30th June receive a quality Mudgee Running Festival t-shirt. All participants will receive a finisher’s medal.
