The 2020 Albany Harbour Swim is now CANCELLED.
We are sorry to advise that due to the implications of the COVID-19 situation and the current State of Emergency declared for WA, the 2020 Albany Harbour Swim is cancelled.
We know there will be many disappointed swimmers and Albany Surf Life Saving Club (ASLSC) is extremely disappointed that this very important annual event will not go ahead this year - particularly given the cancellation of last year's swim due to bad weather. We expect you will understand this decision in light of what is happening around us and how quickly this situation is evolving.
We rely on the assistance of other organisations and the approval of government agencies to deliver these events and it is now unrealistic to expect that support to continue.
There will be no refunds for those entries already completed.

7.30am Race Start.
Princess Royal Harbour – from Princess Royal Sailing Club to Peace Park Albany.
Open to Solo swimmers (Open Water and Wetsuit Divisions), Duo and Quad teams.
Registration for TEAMS – 5.45am and SOLOS from 6.00am at PRSC
TEAMS BRIEFING – 6.15am. Swimmers 2, 3 & 4 boarding boats at 6.30am
SOLOS BRIEFING – 7.OOam
Sea Rescue and Surf Life Saving craft and paddlers will patrol the course for safety of swimmers. All swimmers are to leave the water at completion of their leg.
As a participant of this Open Water Swim event, you enter at your own risk. All participants remain covered for Public Liability, however, entrants are encouraged to have their own personal insurance.
All swimmers will receive an event swim cap which must be worn for the duration of the event.
Early Bird pricing of $50 Adult/ $40 Youth per entrant until 31st March.
Standard pricing of $60 Adult/ $50 Youth per entrant until 12 noon 10th April (online registration close).
Late entries on the day will only be accepted for SOLO swimmers, before 6:45am at $80 Adult/ $70 Youth per entrant.
