Swim Event Details
Approx 2.5km from Windsor Reserve Beach to Balmain Reserve, Cheltenham Beach, starts 8.30am on Saturday, October 31st.
The Freedom Swimmer* category is once again open to daredevils!
Wear a HALLOWEEN swim costume or come along in an outfit before you change - the most SPOOKTACULAR wins a prize!!
Please note there will be no short course available this year
COST: $40 Seniors, $30 Juniors (under 15) and for those over 75 on race day. A late fee of $10 applies to Seniors entering after 3pm on 23rd October.
RegisterNow booking fee of 3% applies plus card fee. Example: Senior Female paying with Mastercard Debit card will be charged a total of $40 + $1.89 = $41.89
REGISTRATIONS: Registration closes at 5pm Friday Oct 30th.
There are no registrations, nor category changes on the swim-day.
CONFIRMATIONS: All swimmers please arrive early to be processed in time.
Swim day confirmations open 7am at Windsor Beach Reserve.
The confirmation desk will close at 8:15am sharp, so please be there in good time. For Health & Safety reasons, all swimmers MUST be confirmed. No confirmation, no swim!
GEAR: Your gear will be transported in a secure trailer to Balmain Reserve for collection at the conclusion of your swim.
Please ensure you use a waterproof/water-resistant bag as the trailer is not covered.
REQUIREMENTS: Wet-suits are recommended. Coloured swim caps are compulsory.
ANXIOUS SWIMMERS / JUNIORS: Let us know before the race (you can email us or even tell us on the day) and we'll place you in swim group led by a professional coach who will keep an eye on you and steer you clear from the rabble.
RACE BRIEFING: A full race briefing will be given at 8:20am at Windsor Reserve.
START TIME:
The long course start horn goes off at 8:30am

This is a climate-positive event - please NO plastic, bring reusable bottles & carpool.
After Event Details
HOT FOOD / DRINKS
We will be serving up complimentary hot food and drinks, free to entrants with a valid number on their hand.
PRIZES:
We have a number of spot prizes from local businesses, and cash prizes for the top swimmer in each category.

*Freedom swimmers will swim up to our FREEDOM boat just off Windsor Beach and hand over their togs. The boat will be waiting for them on Cheltenham Beach 50 -100 metres off the finishing area.
