Weipa Running Festival - COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATE

Weipa Running Festival is monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and its potential to impact our event and attendees on 26th July 2020. Our mission statement promotes that the health and wellbeing of our community is our priority.
Our greatest priority remains the health and safety of our volunteers, and all our event participants. This is why we have made the heartbreaking decision to make our 2020 Running Festival a Virtual Event.
This is in aid of ensuring the mental and physical health of our whole community.
Whilst we are heartbroken, we are incredibly optimistic that this option can continue to see people make healthy choices and achieve their goals in these challenging times.
There is no doubt that considerable caution is needed and we will continue to monitor the situation, liaise with the relevant authorities and keep our competitors updated with our steps when things change.
In the meantime we encourage people to continue to exercise, remain aware of the situation and to practice good hand and health hygiene at all times. And if you have any symptoms then get tested and self isolate until cleared.
Further changes and information will be released over the coming weeks regarding your registration and details for the Virtual Weipa Running Festival. If you have any concerns prior to this please contact us.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Australian Bush Fire
Appeals.
Additional Donations are welcome.
This form is for virtual entry into the 42km, 21km, 10km, 5km and 2.5km

This is a Dynamic Running supported event
Registration types
Individual: this option applies to individuals entering into any event, this option will also allow you to join a group.
ALL COMPETITORS/PARTICIPANTS You must be 18 years or over to complete this registration form.
A parent/guardian must register any children under 18 years of age.
Any requests for cancellation after the week's grace will attract a 10% admin fee. You cannot transfer your registration to another person.
You cannot defer the event to 2021
The event is open to males and females of all levels of fitness. Age restrictions apply.
Your entry fees include:
• Entry into your nominated race or fun run/walk
• Personalised race bib (if you enter before 1st May) for the 5km, 10km, 21.8km and 42.2km.
Please note: entries after 17.06.2020 from outside Weipa will receive an electronic bib. Weipa residents will receive a manual bib.
• Finisher's medal for the 5km, 10km, 21.8km and 42.2km competitors
• Lucky draw prizes
• A training program
• A fun, safe and professional activity
All competitors and participants can pay for and order a T-shirt or a singlet for the event, a second order will be made after the event, please email info@weiparunningfestival.org.au for a order form.
