Update on transport:
- Bump to Beach competitors: Note that the bus going to the Top of the Bump is FULL, if you register now you will need to supply your own transport.
- Early starters for K2PD: No transport. You will need to make your own way to the start.
- 64km K2PD Solo: There is still space on the bus.
This point-to-point race starts just off Kennedy Highway in Kuranda and follows Black Mountain Road that runs through native rainforest, open eucalyptus forest, pine plantations and crosses picturesque creeks to finish on Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas. The course incorporated in the Mowbray National Park within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. The tropical rainforest is home to the endangered southern cassowary, a flightless bird that can grow to two metres in height - you might see one!
We have introduced a Virtual Dynamic Runner option for the 64km solo and 17km B2B options. Race fee is the same, but you do it from anywhere in the world, anytime on or before 30 August 2020. We send you your medal in the mail.

To access the 35% Dynamic Running membership discount fees, you must be a current member of Dynamic Running. If you are not, and wish to join Dynamic Running, go here and sign on.
If you are an current AURA member on race day, use the promotional code 'AURA' for a discounted entry fee. You will need to supply your AURA membership number. The AURA discount is only available during the 'Regular Fee period' from 19 April to 10 August.
RELAY TEAMS: Please know the name of your team prior to doing your registration as you need to provide it during the registration.
GROUPS: You can create or join a group, but that will NOT activate any discounted fees. Groups include clubs, corporate groups, relay team members or the likes.
This event has three races:
1) 64km Kuranda to Port Douglas Ultra Trail Marathon
2) 64km Kuranda to Port Douglas Relay (2-4 team members doing from 13-21.1km per leg)
3) 17km Bump to Beach (last leg of the K2PD race).
The K2PD and K2PD relay races are not available to walkers.
JUNIORS please note: You only qualify to complete in the Bump to Beach (14-17 yr olds) or ONE leg of the 64km Kuranda to Port Douglas Relay Race (16-17 yr olds). Juniors can only participate if a parent/guardian is present at the event. Entry is at the discretion of the race director. Applications must be submitted at least TWO weeks prior to the event. No late entries will be considered.
Refund policy:
No refunds after 30 July 2020. Registration is not transferable to other people, nor can it be held over to the next year. There are no refunds if you opt to register in the final month prior to the event.
The organisers reserve the right to delay, alter or cancel any activities in the event of dangerous weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
Should the event be cancelled for any reason whatsoever entry fees in full or part may not be refunded and no liability of any kind will attach to any person, corporation or body involved or otherwise engaged in promoting or staging the event.
