Given the current restrictions that are upon us and the entire community due to coronavirus (COVID-19), we advise that the Geelong Cross Country Club 2020 season is officially suspended until further notice. Whilst it is unlikely that we will run at all this season, we are keeping our options open to at least run part of the season and finish later in the year. We will be keeping in touch with 2019 members via email. You can also check our web site (http://www.gccc.asn.au/) for updates, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
May we take this opportunity to wish all of you, your families and friends a safe and healthy time through this unbelievably unsettled period of uncertainty and upheaval. Welcome to the Geelong Cross Country Club's membership registration.
Here's how membership works:
All members must pay the membership fee each year (other than life members). Student/pensioner members may be required to present their student or benefits card.
The race fee for each race that you run is $10, or $8 for students and pensioners. You can pay race fees each week by cash or credit card on race day, or by direct deposit.
Alternatively, you can make a single payment now with your membership that will cover race fees for all races in the season, not including the Geelong Half Marathon (held in autumn) or Dawnbuster (on 31st Dec). When paying before 1st July, paying race fees in advance works out to be a discount if you run in 18 or more of the races for the year. All payments are non-refundable.
All runners require a timing chip. If you do not already have your own chip issued by us, please select the 'and chip' registration category applicable to you.
Reduced fees from 1st July
Fees for registrations from 1st July are approximately half those for registrations before 1st July (other than for timing chips).
