Welcome to the 2020 Tour de Gracetown which is our 16th year of operations.  We have expanded on our 2018 routes and fine tuned them in 2019 and in 2020 we return with not two but three distances.

Consider therefore the: Grande 120 km, the Medio 90 km and the Petit 60 km categories for your choosing.

We will start once again at Gracetown Hall and finish at Juniper Estate with safety vehicles to escort you out of Gracetown and all the way towards Bussell Hwy turnoff. The route will take you towards the northern sector of the South West coast in the midst of the many established wineries and finishing at Juniper Estate, Margaret River.

  

 

 We can also be proud of the fact that we are probably one of the original Western Australian based ride events that donate our proceeds to local charities and for the second year running we have chosen two charities as or beneficiaries namely the Ladybird Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Help Association Inc.  To make it uniquely Australian – the entire event management team as well as associated companies working towards the success of TDG are also Australian and we ensure that our event contributes to the local infrastructure and the economy.

We are definitely not a road race but instead a social community ride for charity – and we have created realistic average speed groups so that riders who are signing up can self-seed themselves and also invite their friends to sign up appropriately.

Features for TDG 2020

  • Start at Gracetown Hall -the spiritual hub of our event.
  • Finish at Juniper Estate, Margaret River winery
  • Coffee Vans sourced for your hot beverage needs. We will source two vans for 2020 due to the demands at both Gracetown Hall and at Juniper
  •  will be present for your gourmet coffee / hot beverage needs from 6:30am
  • Start Time revised to 8:00 am with final safety briefing at 7:40 am
  • Traffic Marshalled intersections at Caves Road and Bussell Highway
  • End of Trip Facilities for Riders and Families at Juniper Estate
  • Lunch festivities can now easily include families and friends
  • We are sourcing potential transport options for parking at Juniper and transfers to Gracetown Hall with a fee that would go towards the sponsorship

COSTS:

Petit 60 km Ride: $120.00

Medio 90 km: $120.00

Grande 120 km Ride: $120.00

Early Bird registrations are from Dec 2019 to end of March 2020 and the fee will be $110 per rider.  Normal registration fees as above apply from April to Sept 2020.

From 6pm, 29 October 2020 to the actual event, the late fee will be $140.00 per rider. Register on the day until 8am - no cash, credit card payments only.

Early sign in and event bib pick up at Juniper Estate 4pm - 6pm. Pizza, Wine and Beverages available for purchase at our Sundowner. Options for on-line meals purchase will be sent to participants 1 month before the event.

31st Oct 2020

6:30 - 7:30 am: Event sign in / Event bib pick up at Gracetown Hall  

7:30 am: Registration and sign in closes - no exceptions for late arrivals

7:40 am: Safety Briefing for ALL riders at Gracetown Hall 

8:00: Riders depart.
