The Wheelie Good Fun Run – Sunday 21 March, 2021.
Cystic Fibrosis WA is a not-for-profit organisation that provides essential support services and funds critical research to improve the lives of children and adults living with cystic fibrosis (CF) in WA.
In Australia 1 in 25 people carry the CF gene – that’s more than 1 million people. And, every 4 days a baby is born with CF. People with CF have frequent lung infections which can lead to permanent lung damage. Treatment can take between 1 to 4 hours a day and include medications, physiotherapy, exercise and a high calorie diet.
The Wheelie Good Fun Run has a distance to suit everyone.
- 6km walk/run
- 8km run
- 12km run – must be 18+ to enter PLUS
The 6km Wheelbarrow Relay (team of 4)
This is the ultimate team building run. Get together a team of 4 and join the 6km wheelbarrow relay. Collect as many items from the shopping list to support Cystic Fibrosis WA with their Hospital Care Packs. Your team then takes turns pushing your fully loaded wheelbarrow around the course.
Participants are to provide their own wheelbarrow. Prizes will be awarded.

About the course
This event is on existing pathways and there is no crossing of traffic intersections or traffic lights. As such, the path used in this event is OPEN and has NO ROAD CLOSURES.
The paths are SHARED paths, so other runners, walkers (and pets) and cyclists could be present. Please be courteous to other users.
There will be event crew/marshals who are either PIH Run Coaches or Cyclists with reflective vests along the route. Please follow their directions. It is required that all participants are to keep left at all times unless directed by event crew.
