Welcome to the 2020 Geelong Half Marathon & 7 km Run, postponed to Sunday, 11th April, 2021.
We have now reached capacity and have closed registrations. Sorry for any disappointment but we hope to see you at our next half marathon in autumn of 2022.
We're confident we can ensure the event is COVID-safe and can gain approval from the relevant authorities. However if we are forced to cancel the event, your entry fee will be refunded in full.
Entry fees
We are pleased to offer reduced entry fees to those with Australian Health Care Cards, and to entrants who will be aged under 18 on event day.

These entry fees are GST inclusive and there are no additional handling fees etc.
Age limits
While we are actively encourage young runners, for safety reasons, we must insist that all runners be aged 16 or more on race day for the Geelong Half Marathon and 14 years or more for the 7 km Run.
What is the last day I can enter?
To ensure your safety and enjoyment, the fields for the Geelong Half Marathon and 7 km Run have been limited to 700 and 100, respectively. For each event, entries will close at midnight on Thursday 25th March or earlier if the maximum number has been reached prior to this date.
No entries will be taken after 25th March or on the day of the event.
How do I get my race pack
Your race pack will be posted to you. This will have everything you need and you will not need to check in to our Information tent before start time. Race packs will be posted via Australia Post from Geelong no later than Friday 26th March, 2021. They will be posted to the address you entered under.
What if my race pack does not arrive in the post
If your race pack does NOT arrive in time, on event morning, drop by the Information tent for a replacement pack.
Can I get a refund?
If you notify us by Thursday 25th March, we will refund your entry fee (less a $10 administration fee). Please send your request to halfmarathon@gccc.asn.au. Sorry – no refunds are possible after 25th March.
Can I change between the Half Marathon and the 7 km Run?
If you would like to change events, please contact us on halfmarathon@gccc.asn.au. We can do this at any stage. There is a $10 administration fee for changing events.
