Hi. My name is Ollie. I am a 9-year-old boy living in Orange, NSW.
Please join me & my mates for Ollie's Orange Give Me 5 for Kids Charity Bike Ride.
What: This is a cycling event for any kid in years K-7 (ages 5-13 years old). The cycle will be over the following distances - 5km, 10km, 15km, 20km, 25km
When: Sunday 10th November 2019. Pre-ride briefing at 10:30am for an 11am start.
Where: The ride will be held at Gosling Creek Reserve, Bargwanna Rd, Orange.
All events will be conducted at Gosling Creek with the majority of the ride on a bike path close to vehicular traffic - 4km out of 5km will be in the bike path, 1km will be a quiet country road.
Who: Any child, aged 5-13 years, can participate as long as you have a bike in good working order & where appropriate, have a parent/guardian escort you on the road portion of the course. Choose a distance & start fundraising!
Why: My goal is to raise money for the Give Me 5 for Kids. This is a local charity which raised funds for local children’s hospital wards, making a real difference to the lives of sick local kids and their families.
Cost: $10 entry fee per participant. But each child should aim to fundraise an additional $20.
How: To register, simply go to Ollie's Orange Give Me 5 for Kids Charity Ride and pay a $10 registration fee per rider which goes to Give Me 5 For Kids.
Fundraising Information:
In order to help raise more funds for Give Me 5 For Kids, all participants will be invited to set up their own fundraising page as part of the registration process.
Once you’ve created your fundraising page and paid your $10 registration you are registered for the event and can begin sharing your fundraising page with family and friends. Your fundraising will help sick local kids and their families.
