Core Strengthening and its Importance on Posture. 
 

 

“Posture” and “Core” are two words that are often seen in the same phrase. Bad posture is commonly related to a weaker core and therefore strengthening the core muscles is the first port of call to address the posture issues.

However, posture changes are also linked to prolonged sitting/standing in awkward positions, as a result, affecting other body structures.

 We will be looking at provide more detailed information on exercises and techniques that can be used to improve posture and strength related  body structures.

 In this workshop we will present on the following:

  • What is core?
  • Why should I strengthen my core?
  • Does perfect posture exist?
  • Why should I worry about my posture?
  • Strengthening vs. Stretching
  • Best exercises to improve the most common posture issues.
Venue: Loftus Recreation Centre - Loftus Street &, Vincent St, Leederville WA 6007.

Time: 715 pm for 730 pm start till 830 pm
Cost: Free for the community.
