The Hero Run is an out-and-back looped course that covers the Laratinga Wetlands and the Mount Barker Linear Trail. Three, five, and 10km runners will do one loop (with different turnaround points). Fifteen km and half marathon runners will do two loops (with different turnaround points). Thirty km runners will do three loops and full marathon runners will do four loops.
There will be 1-2 aid stations on the course – one manned, one unmanned. Runners are recommended to bring their own hydration supplies if they feel they need more water. All aid stations will have lollies and hydration; the manned aid station will also offer first aid.

*Listed prices are for standard registration. Late registration prices are $5 higher than standard registration. Late registration begins 13 September 2019.If you wish to have a medal on the day, you must register before the late registration period. Medals are free to anyone running at least a half marathon distance and $8 to anyone running a shorter distance. Personalised medal inscriptions (with name and time) are available for an extra $5.
**MARATHON PARTICIPANTS: To ensure there are enough people to go ahead with the marathon distance, we request all runners interested in the marathon first register their FREE expression of interest through the registration link. Once 7 people have registered their interest, all interested parties will be contacted to officially register for the distance. Each runner will be charged the price which would have been available (early, standard, and late) when they registered their expression of interest.
RACE BRIEFING TIME
All runners are expected to be present at the start 15 minutes before their distance’s start time for the race briefing. Early and late starts can be arranged with an acceptable reason at the event organiser’s discretion. Please contact GoodRunningsinfo@gmail.com if you wish to arrange and early/late start.
