Instructions

  • Each participant must be 15 years of age or older as of 31 July 2019.  Any participant 15-17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • Each Individual Rider must have a registered nominated Supporter who is not riding.
  • Each Team Rider must have a registered nominated Supporter who is not riding, and may also nominate a Team Captain.  Team Riders may share the nominated Supporter. 

Registration Fees:

  •  Riders - $100
  •  Supporters - $40

Fees are inclusive of BBQ dinner, breakfast and use of Drovers' Camp facilities.  Additional meals can also be purchased.

Important Dates:

  • Registrations:  Saturday 3 August 2019 from 5.30am
    • ALL riders, team captains and supporters must register and attend the ride briefing.
    • ALL bikes used during the Mount Isa Border Ride are to be safety checked during registrations on the morning of the ride.
    • This includes riders and bikes who are only riding a portion of the ride later in the day.
  • Ride: Saturday 3 August 2019
    • Registration and bike safety checks start from 5.30am and close at 6.40am
    • Ride briefing at 6.45am
    • Ride starts at 7.00am. 
    • The finish line will close at 5.00pm

Location: The event starts at the Lawn in front of the Mount Isa Civic Centre and finishes at the Northern Territory border (just past Camooweal).

Bike Condition: Each bike will be safety checked on the morning of the Mount Isa Border Ride.  HJC Bicycle Engineering, cnr Fourth and Fifth Ave, Mount Isa will be available for the week leading up to Border Ride for any safety checks or concerns. Contact Joseph de Legge on 0424 997 555.
