BEFORE YOU BOOK

1 Ticket equals 1 Person. So if book for a team you will need a ticket for each person. Please ensure you check the available ticket numbers for a time slot before you book your ticket (i.e-: if your booking for a team of 5 and there are only 3 tickets available, you will need to book another time slot). To ensure your whole team gets to run together its easiset to book all at the same time.

For indiviuals please ensure you book in the indiviual time slots (not the Team times).

 

WHERE TO STAY

Free camping including showers and toilets will be available at the Motorcross Club, Buttweld Road in South Hedland WA 6722.

Alternatively there is also accommodation to suit all need and tastes in the town, nice and close to where the event is being held. If you are unsure contact the visitor centre and check on Trip Advisor for a selection of accommodation options.

 

FOOD & DRINK

We will have food vendors set up at the event, to keep those grumbling bellies at bay post your muddy run. The food vendors will have many delicious food options available for purchase, as well as a bar for a sneaky post-run beer.

 

GETTING THERE/ PARKING

The Motorcross Club is located on Buttweld Road, South Hedland WA 6722 . Have a look on Google Maps for directions on how to get there. We suggest that you consider car sharing and remember, if youre planning to enjoy a few mouth-watering beers after your muddy run, keep safe and appoint a skipper.

 

SPECTATORS

Spectators are encouraged to come along to the 2019 Pilbara Mud Run and cheer on those getting muddy! Our friendly events team will allocate viewing areas for spectators on the day. Please ensure that your children are monitored at all time and do not allow your children on to the course at any time.

 

HOW WILL THE STARTING WAVES WORK?

    •       We have staggered starts to minimise the congestion at obstacles and maximise the fun!

    •       Start waves will leave at 10 minute intervals.

    •       When you arrive on the day you will need to sign in for your start wave time.

    •       If a wave start time is no longer available when you try to register online, it means it has been filled. Waves are allocated on a first in best dressed process.

 

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

    •       Prepare to get down and dirty! Hedland can experience some fairly wintery weather in June, so be prepared for potentially colder weather. The good news is that you will quickly warm up once out on course!

    •       We suggest wearing long sleeved clothes and layering up. Old clothes are the best bet when dealing with mud, dont wear your Sunday best!

    •       We will have a muddy binat the finish line if you would prefer to dispose of your outer layer of clothing once you have completed the course.

    •       We require all participants to wear fully enclosed shoes when out on course.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

    •       A copy of your confirmation email so we can scan you in (this can be a printed copy or displayed on your phone).

    •       Enough cash for food, drink etc. for the event (there are no ATM facilities)

    •       Protection from the sun (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)

    •       Please remember a towel for the shower, a new set of clothes to change into before you head over to join the DJ and the food/bar area and a plastic bag for any dirty clothes that you would like to keep.

    •       Some warm clothing as it may get chilly after dark.         

    •       You will require photo ID in order to be served alcohol.

 

LEAVE AT HOME?

   •     Alcohol or any illicit substance

    •       Glass vessels or containers

    •       Clothing featuring Motor Cycle Gang colours, patches or insignias

    •       Anything that could be used as a weapon

    •       Cameras, videos, tape recorders (small digital cameras, Go Pros and phones are ok)

    •       Animals (guide/helper dogs accepted)

 

WILL THERE BE SHOWERS?

    •       Showers available on site

 

WILL THE PILBARA MUD RUN BE TIMED?

    •       Yes the Pilbara Mud Run is a timed event. However our stance is that the Pilbara Mud Run is a personal challenge, so dont be too concerned about speeding around the course, take your time and have fun!

 

DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?

    •       Yes, registering for the event involves agreeing to our terms and conditions and event policy

    •       Please note that all participants have to be 16yrs+ for main obstacle course and those under 18years require permission from their responsible adult.

 

WILL THERE BE ANY ENTERTAINMENT?

    •       There will be a DJ a to keep everyone pumped along with our great MC.

 

CAN MY KIDS RUN?

    •       The main course is only open to children 16yrs and over (for insurance purposes and to ensure child safety). 

 

CAN I GET A REFUND OR TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION?

    •       Our event Terms and Conditions that you agreed to upon registering outline our event rules, registration policy, conditions of entry and contingency procedures. See our event policy here -:

    •       We do not offer refunds on registrations however you can transfer your registration to another person.

 

WILL THERE BE ANY WATER POINTS OUT ON COURSE?

            •           Yes, we will have a several hydration stations situated along the course.
