Registrations are now closed. They closed at 8pm on Thursday- Please text 0407038303 if you are still intending to paddle this weekend. You are expected to have your craft for inspection by 10:30 am at the low bridge in Mareeba. Please have correct change for your late entry. BRC30 paddlers must ring.
Welcome to registration for the 9th Barron River Challenge to be held on the 1st/2nd of June 2019
This is the Registration page for the Junior BRC12, the BRC20, the BRC50- a split race , and the BRC30 which is for paddlers only paddling on Sunday.
The water levels are high this year and we expect record times. With heights >1.90m at Mareeba and >1.0m at Myola it is mandatory that entrants have suitable experience in rivers of this type. This race is not for beginners.
There is FREE accommodation for paddlers staying overnight at Bilwon. Priority will be given to BRC50 and BRC30 out of town travellers for some undercover options. All camping and van options will be free and there is plenty of room.
We have designed a T Shirt for this our 9th annual race. Shirts (long and Short sleeve) are $50 each.

Online registration will close on Thursday 30th June, 2019 at 11.59 pm. You must have made the online registration deadline to be eligible for random prizes.
