The 2019 Ministers' and Leaders' Retreat will be held in Sydney from the 8th - 10th June 2019 at the Holiday Inn, Warwick Farm (355 Hume Hwy, Warwick Farm). Sessions will commence each day at 9:00am and finish at 5:00pm

This year the Retreat will be a Leadership Development International event for the South Pacific Region, with brethren attending from some of the South Pacific nations. Leadership Development International is part of Global Missions of the United Pentecostal Church International (developandlead.com).  The purpose of LDI is to develop leaders throughout the world, utilizing resources from countless contributors to develop leadership in a variety of leadership methods, principles, characteristics and more. All ministry at the Retreat will be by the LDI team:

  • Rev David & Mrs Cathy Fauss – Pastors of Bethel Tabernacle, Houston Texas
  • Rev Allan Shalm – Missionary to the Asia Pacific region
  • Rev Shawn Stickler – Pastor of Pentecostals of Quinte, Ontario
  • Rev Tim Zuniga – Pastor of Pentecostals of Goodlettsville, Tennesee

The  Executive Board has decided to invite all ministers and pastor-endorsed leaders to attend the three day retreat (Saturday through to Monday).

Registration is $75.00 per day per person (GST is not collected on registration) and must be paid in advance. Registrations close at midnight sharp on Thursday 23rd of May.


The registration includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea and use of facilities. Use of the Holiday Inn facility is conditional on each person who attends paying a registration fee as well as advance notice of attendance (by Thursday 23rd May) for catering purposes.

Subjects to be covered at the Retreat include How to Identify and Develop Leaders; Diagnosing and Developing Personal Leadership Ability; Preparing to Speak; Effective Interpersonal Relationships; and The Hard Stuff of Leadership.

Please note:  Accommodation is not included in the registration. We have secured a limited number of rooms at the Retreat venue for $239 per night including buffet breakfast. If you would like to reserve one of these rooms please contact Sis Jena Grech (jena.grech@upca.org.au) as soon as possible.

This Leadership Development International event is a wonderful opportunity for our Ministers and Leaders to receive inspiration and instruction from speakers with practical experience. Make plans to attend!


IF YOU ARE NOT A LICENSED MINISTER OR MINISTER'S SPOUSE WITH THE UPC PLEASE READ THIS:
If you are not a licensed minister or minister's spouse and your pastor has approved your attendance at the retreat you will need to provide your Pastor’s name in the field provided in the registration. If your Pastor approves your attendance your spouse is also welcome to attend.
