- ANNOUNCEMENT
Lightweight Motorcycle Club Inc, known as the Promoter, will conduct the meeting in accordance with the General Competition Rules of Motorcycling Australia (GCR’s), these supplementary regulations & any additions or amendments approved by Motorcycling Western Australia.
- JURISDICTION
The above mentioned meeting has been authorized by Motorcycling Western Australia which has issued Motorcycling Australia permit # 19/60559/O and is open to all Junior & Senior National Competition Licence holders and is open to a minimum standard of a One Event Meeting Licence holder.
- OFFICIALS
Officials are appointed with the approval of Motorcycling Western Australia. Control will be under the Clerk of Course with the supervision from the Steward/s of the meeting who reserve the right to alter, postpone or cancel all or part of the event program if required, without notice. Officials are subject to change.

- Senior grading as per Motorcycling WA
- Veterans must be 40 years and over at the date of the event to complete in the Veterans Grade.

- MINIMUM / MAXIMUM RIDERS
The maximum number of entries that will be accepted per class is 40 riders, where the classes have been combined maximum numbers will be 40 per event. The minimum number of entries to constitute a class is 10 riders. Classes may be combined to suit entries received.

Late entries may be accepted up to 04th April 2019 but will not be entered into the program. The only late entries that will be accepted are where there are available places on the grid.

FLAG LEVY $15.00 PER INDIVIDUAL FAMILY
Sponsors names will be accepted. Sponsors will be shown next to a rider’s name in the program at the promoter’s discretion.
Cancellation: Prior to the closing date refunds will be permitted minus a $10.00 administration fee. After closing date refunds will be considered on a case by case basis by the promoter.
- ENTRY PASSES
Entry for Rider and Mechanic is included in Entry Fees 6b) all other team members must pay the admission costs of $15.00 Per Adult children under 16 years free.
- MACHINE EXAMINATION
Machine Examination: 06:00 am to 07:15 am
All competitors must present themselves with their Parent/Guardian if under 18, Bike, Boots, Body Armour and Helmet on the participants head for inspection.
As per the GCR 10.13.2 Cameras and 10.13.2.1 Cameras may be fitted to the motorcycle provided they are securely mounted. Camera mounts are subject to approval by the Chief Scrutineer. Helmet cameras are not permitted unless the camera is integrated into the helmet, by design of the manufacturer.
Tear off exemption, conditions apply.
ALL MACHINES MUST CONFORM TO THE GCR’s. Your machine will have some form of identifier placed on it to provide evidence of Machine Examination. Extra machine will be allowed but the machine must go through machine examination in the time specified.
- TRACK INSPECTION:
All competitors will be given the opportunity to walk and inspect the track prior to any on track participation. This inspection must be done on foot and competitors are reminded that service vehicles may be in operation on the circuit at this time.
Track Dissatisfaction Competitors who are not satisfied with any aspects of the track can present these concerns to the Clerk of Course if those concerns cannot be resolved, the competitor will be invited to withdraw from the meeting.
- RACE CONDITIONS
The promoter reserves the right to postpone, cancel or change the program if necessary with Motorcycling Western Australia approval prior to the meeting or with permission from the Steward on the day of the meeting.
- RIDERS MEETING
A riders meeting will be held 7:20am that all riders must attend.
- PRACTICE
Practice will commence at 7:30am on the day for all capacity classes. Minimum 3 laps time permitting.
- START METHOD
Self-penalising drop gates, Clutch start.
15 second board displayed to all riders for full 15 seconds
At the end of 15 sec a 5-sec board will be displayed.
The gate will drop between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5-sec board is shown
- GRID SELECTION
Riders are not permitted on the start grid until authorised by the officials.
Rider to select a peg from the bucket. Peg 1 = first selection of all gates, peg 25 = 25th selection.
Only 1 assistant per rider 16 years and over permitted in the starting area.
- FINISH METHOD
A last lap board will be displayed to riders indicating when one lap remains.
A chequered flag will be displayed to each competitor as each crosses the line, with the flag being displayed to the first to complete the event, who will, subject to the results of any protests, be the winner, and thereafter to each competitor who:
- has completed not less than 1 lap of the event, and
- is still competing in the event on the lap in which the chequered flag is displayed to the winner, with the sequence of completion of the event being the determinant of placings.
- CHANGE OF MACHINE
A rider can change bikes right up to the start of the race as long as both bikes are eligible for the class, designated to the one rider, identical numbers and have passed scrutineering.
No notification is required to the Clerk of Course in the above case but if a rider wishes to use another competitors bike in place of his own then a notification in writing to the Clerk of Course at least 10 min prior to the race in which the substitution is to be made needs to be completed.
- PROTESTS
All protests shall be in writing and accompanied by the prescribed fee of $100.00 (refer GCR’s). The right to protest lies only with the rider or entrant (seniors).
Junior riders are required to indicate prior to leaving the circuit that they wish to lodge an official protest by raising the purple protest flag.
- AWARDS
Points will be awarded as per the GCR’s
- Juniors
50cc Demo 4-U9 non competitive class will receive a participation award
Awards will be issued for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in all classes
- Seniors
Awards will be issued for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in all classes
Prize money will be paid in all classes that constitute a class; 1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd $50
Hendley Park Cup Prize money will be; 1st $500, 2nd $250, 3rd $100 and 1st placed Intermediate $100.00 1st placed Clubman $100.00 can only be collected at the event presentations at the conclusion of the event by the winner.
- FIRST AID
First Aid personnel will be in attendance. It is a condition of entry that First Aid MUST be accepted wherever deemed necessary by the attending first aiders. The Clerk of Course of the day has the right to refuse further racing of a rider if first aide requirements are not adhered to.
- INJURIES
Riders who have been transported to hospital or referred to a Doctor prior to the event must obtain a medical clearance and forward a copy to Motorcycling WA stating fit for Motorcycle activity before participating in the event. Riders who have been transported to hospital or referred to a Doctor during the event must obtain a medical clearance and submit a copy to the Race Secretary before being allowed to continue competing at the event.
- AMBULANCE COVER
All riders are reminded that ambulance cover is compulsory as a condition of your licence. Cover must be maintained for the duration of your licence.
- GENERAL RULES
- No alcoholic beverages allowed in pits or racing circuit.
- NO BYO alcohol. Vehicles may be checked on entrance
- There will be no riding of bikes other than on the track.
- Machines must be pushed to and from vehicles and in and out of the pits. Engine may be running to assist
- Dogs will not be permitted (except guide dogs).
- Enclosed footwear must be worn in the pits at all times.
- NO pushbikes, mini-bikes, recreational quads or scooters permitted within the pits.
- INSURANCE
National Personal Accident Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability. Full
insurance details can be found on the Motorcycling Australia website www.ma.org.au
Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees.
It is strongly recommended that competitors give consideration to taking out weekly benefits insurance
- NO HASSLE POLICY
Any rider or entrant or person associated with the rider or entrant shall conduct themselves in an orderly manner. A rider shall be responsible for his own conduct and that of any person with whom he is associated. Anyone who abuses or threatens personally or physically any official or any other person present at the event shall lie deemed to be in Breach of this rule.
The Clerk of Course for a breach of this rule may impose PENALTIES on the day of this meeting i.e.
a) *Reprimand or warning
b) *Fine
c) *Expulsion from the meeting
d) *All breaches will be reported to MWA for possible further action
- DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY
All competitors and officials are advised that random drug and alcohol testing may take place during the competition. Refer to MA Website for details on the Safety Policy – Drug and Alcohol testing.
- ANTI-DOPING POLICY
All competitors and officials are advised that drug testing may take place in accordance with MA’s Anti-Doping Policy, as carried out by the ASDA. Refer to MA Website for details.
- RIGHT TO USE IMAGE
It is a condition of entry that consent is given by the entrant/rider and/or parent/guardian for all photographs and electronic images (including moving images) that may be taken during the event by or on behalf of the Promoter, or with permission of the Promoter. All such images are the property of the Promoter and will only be used in accordance with the Motorcycling Australia Member Protection Policy and for the purposes of promotional or other purposes without further consent being required.
