The Chronicle '40 for Fortey'

You are registering the '40 for Fortey' 4km Remembrance Walk.

Please note the following:

  • Start time is 8:00am from 'Katoomba Point Lookout’ on Prince Henry Drive (opposite Camp Toowoomba) 
  • Entry fees are $20 per walker (13 years and over); children under the age of 13 do not need to register, however must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The ‘40 for Fortey’ 4km Remembrance Walk is a 4 kilometre circuit around Prince Henry Heights.
  • For insurance and safety reasons all children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • No dogs, prams, bikes, etc. are permitted.
  • The Race Director has the authority to delay or abandon the event due to adverse weather conditions that may affect the safety of runners.
  • There is no event parking in Prince Henry Heights is a drop off/collection zone only with no event parking available. Parking has been provided in the Toowoomba TAFE on Bridge Street with event buses running continuously from 5:00am between the parking area and the event zone (trip time approximately 10 minutes). Participants are responsible for ensuring they arrive at the event zone with sufficient time for their lap/s.
