Capital to Coast (C2C) is a 100km multistage event held from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon at various locations between Canberra, ACT, and Huskisson, NSW.  The event consists of a prologue on the Friday, four stages on the Saturday and a further four stages on the Sunday.  Stages range between (approximately) 6km and 16km in length.

Runners can participate as solo runners, completing all nine stages, or as members of relay teams of up to four runners.  Relay teams can allocate stages between team members at their own discretion, but each member must run at least one stage on Saturday and one stage on Sunday.  Terrain for the race includes beach, trail, cross-country course, bike path / footpath, fire trail, low-use dirt country roads and low-use bitumen roads.  Roads are not closed to traffic for the event.

The commencement of each stage is organised as a mass start of all runners competing in the stage.  Runner and relay team times for the event are calculated as the sum of the elapsed time for each stage of the event.  Participants (and support crew) are responsible for transport from the completion of a stage to the start of the next stage.  Participants are also responsible for their own accommodation.

Members of the YMCA Canberra Runners Club (YCRC) will receive a $20 discount on individual entry or $10 if entering a relay team. Members of AURA will receive a $20 discount on individual entries. Only one of the YCRC or AURA discounts are available for individual entry.

AURA members will need their membership number to claim the discount. Please note that your discount will not appear until you reach the 'transaction summary' screen.

Entry includes a finisher's medal. Early bird entrants are also entitled to a free event T-shirt.

The event dinner and event buffs are available to purchase, as well as additional event T-shirts . Dinner numbers are limited. Non-participants can also purchase merchandise and dinner tickets.

Entry to the individual event is restricted to adults 18 and over. Relay members must be 15 or older.

Solo entries may be exchanged and relay teams may change membership prior to the close of entries.  No changes will be permitted following the close of entries.  An administration fee of $20 applies to all changes. Withdrawals prior to midnight, 30 June 2019 will receive a refund of 50% of their entry fee.  Subsequent entries will forfeit 100% of their entry fee.
