The 'Shake, Rattle, and Roll Run’ is an out-and-back, SELF-SUPPORTED running event. It starts at the Riverton start of the Rattler Trail and continues onwards in the direction of Auburn until participants reach the turning point of their elected distance, at which point they turn and return. There will be ONLY ONE or two aid stations (depending on the amount of volunteers); these will supply hydration, snacks, and first aid. Runners are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to bring enough hydration and snacks to support themselves through their elected distance.
As GoodRunnings is interested in providing OFFICIAL marathons which meet the standards of the Australian 100 Marathon Club, we offer the option of registering a FREE expression of interest for the marathon. If enough interest is present, all those who registered their interest will be contacted and told the marathon will go ahead. When this happens, the registrants will be asked to register their official participation (at the price listed).

All distances will start at 7:30, with the race briefing beginning at 7:15. A photographer from the Council and the Riverton Rag Newsletter is likely to take a photo to promote the enjoyable uses of the Rattler Trail – I want to help them out by having as many of the runners present as possible for the photo!
If you desire an early or late start, early/late starts are available up to two hours with an acceptable reason. Contact GoodRunningsinfo@gmail.com if you’re interested in this option.
