This site is for applying to register as a Member of the Queensland Fencing Association. The different categories of membership available are Volunteer Supporting Member; Junior Member; Senior Member and Coach or Official Member.

QFA Membership Fees for Senior, Junior and Coach or Official Members include a Volunteer Levy. This amount is being charged to help support some of the important functions of QFA on those occasions where there are insufficient volunteers. Members will be eligible to reclaim the Volunteer Levy amount provided they have assisted at QFA activities such as canteens at competitions, setting up for National tournaments and assisting with running large public events. Fencers in regional areas are able to reclaim the levy by assisting in their own regions throughout the year. Where fencers choose not to volunteer, the levy is retained by the region to contribute towards equipment and development needs.

Supporting Members are not eligible to participate in any activities, but will receive information about upcoming events. Supporting Members are eligible to hold volunteer positions within QFA, such as being involved on the Management Committee.

Junior Members (born 1999 or later) are eligible to compete in the following activities:
- QFA School Individual Competitions
- Brisbane School Team Fixtures and/or Brisbane Junior School Fixtures
- QFA Squad Competitions or QFA Regional Competitions
- QFA Squad Training Program
- Queensland State Competitions (including State Age Championships)
- National Competitions (including National School and Age Championships)
- Junior Members who are over 18 years of age are eligible to vote at General Meetings

Senior Members (born before 1999) are eligible to compete in the following activities:
- QFA Regional Competitions
- QFA Squad Training Program
- Queensland State Competitions
- National Competitions
- Voting at General Meetings

Coach or Official Members are not eligible to participate in QFA competitions or activities, and are not entitled to vote at QFA General Meetings. QFA Coach/Official Members are covered by the Australian Fencing Federation's National Insurance Policy, including Professional Indemnity Insurance. Details of the Insurance Policy (including reporting requirements) are available on the AFF Website.

The standard RN processing fee of 3% is added to all payments.
