Due to high river levels and cold water from June to September we may not schedule any introductory courses.

This Private Lessons based learn to paddle program comprises three 1-hour sessions under the supervision of a Level 1 qualified coach, with all equipment provided. The program covers the safe use and handling of equipment and sufficient to develop very basic flatwater paddling skills. Participants should plan on getting very wet, so please bring a towel and a change of clothes.

Although a Personal Floatation Device (PFD) will be worn at all times during the course, participants still must to comfortable in deep water and must be able to swim 20 m.  If you cannot swim, please do not complete registration and contact the club at if you need further information.
