Thank you for your interest in the Port to Park - Saturday 2nd February 2019.
This year we are expanding our range of events to include a SUP (stand up paddleboard) event:
- 2.5km SUP - Start time 9.00am
- 1.1km Swim - Start time 10.00am
- 2.2km Swim - Start time 11.00am
This season the South Melbourne Life Saving Club building is being rebuilt and we are working out of site sheds and shipping containers for the season. Our temporary facilities are set up opposite Victoria Avenue on Beaconsfield Parade.
The event however is still going ahead and we thank you for your support!
Swims
1.1km swim - All age groups from 12 years through to 70+
2.2km swim - Second year trial event with Female and Male categories only
SUP
2.5km SUP - Open category only

Pre-registration
$45 for 1 swim or SUP
$60 for both swims
$60 for 1 swim and SUP
$75 for both swims and SUP
On the day
$55 for 1 swim or SUP
$80 for both swims
$80 for 1 swim and SUP
$105 for both swims and SUP
Registration
Registration will be set up on the beach adjacent to the Albert Park Angling Club at Kerferd Pier.
Registration will open from 7.00am for all pre-entries and for on the day entries.
On the day registration closing times:
Registration closes at 8.45am for the SUP Event
Registration closes at 9.45am for the 1.1km Swim
Registration closes at 10.45am for the 2.2km Swim
All participants who have not collected their cap/timing bracelet will not be able to swim/paddle.
Getting to South Melbourne Beach
Driving - Limited metered parking is available on Beaconsfield Parade.
The #1 tram (South Melbourne Beach) is an option for those who do not wish to drive and the tram stop is approx 400m from the registration point.
Wave times will be posted on the South Melbourne LSC website http://www.southmelbournelsc.com.au/port-to-park-swim.html closer to the date of the event, however the first wave will be at 10.00am.
