Zoo2Zoo Royal Tour

2018 will see the inaugural Zoo2Zoo Royal Tour take place on Monday 15th October 2018 and Tuesday 16th October 2018. It will be the 1st Zoo2Zoo Royal Tour. Day 1 sees us ride from the Royal Hotel in Orange to the Royal Hotel in Manildra to the Royal Hotel in Cumnock, where we will stay overnight. Day 2 will see us leave the Royal Hotel in Cumnock, have breakfast at the Royal Hotel in Yeoval and then have lunch at Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo.

In 2006 twelve friends set out to cycle from Taronga Zoo to the Western Plains Zoo with the simple goal of raising enough money to secure Dubbo a spot on the Charity Edition of Monopoly. Arriving in Dubbo after 420km over three days of cycling, with Dubbo securely on the Monopoly board, the Zoo2Zoo was born.

Since 2009 the Zoo2Zoo has raised in excess of $1,200,000 for the Black Dog Institute, a not-for-profit, educational, research, clinical and community-oriented facility offering specialist expertise in depression and bipolar disorder.
It is expected that each participant attempt to raise awareness and funds for the Black Dog Institute using the everydayhero fundraising page.
