Tour of the Jacarandas – Saturday 19th October 2019
Introduction
The Tour of the Jacarandas is in its 7th year and once again for 2019 we will be hosting this event to support developing riders in the cycling community.
There is no other Event that can compare with the Tour of the Jacarandas as we ride through tree lined streets in South Perth – Kensington– Manning – Mt Henry Estate and we make our way back through Applecross and Como
This is a social recreational cycling event of 30 km which will suit all level of riders and especially encouraging for the developmental riders to achieve. Established cyclists – this is your opportunity to mentor and support your cyclists friends so sign up with them.
There will be cycling coaches, ride captains and support vehicles for the riders, who will be divided into groups for the ease of travelling.
There will be a number of photo opportunity stops along the way but the drawcard is the amazing breakfast available at Angelo St Market afterwards !
Ride Details:
Date: Saturday 19th October 2019
Time: 6.30 am to 8.30 am
Meet Location:Angelo St Market Car Park - corner of Coode St & Angelo St in South Perth
Cost: $22 for Blue Army members and $32 for non-Blue Army riders.
Age: Riders must be 14 years or older on the day of the event to participate.
Riders aged 14-17 years require parental consent to register and will be required to sign up as a family with one or more parents / chaperone riders 18 years or older. No 14-17 year old riders are permitted without an accompanying parent / chaperone.
No refunds if you are unable to attend.
The rider registration is also NON transferable to another rider for insurance reasons.
Please spread the word as we are hoping to attract between 200 to 300 riders for the 7th year of the Tour of the Jacarandas!
