Organiser

The Australian Fencing Federation Ltd

Registration closes on:

Thursday, 1 August 2019 at 12:00 AM - (GMT+10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney

This is the registration process for nominating for overseas events.  The fee paid here is not the entry fee for the event, which must typically be paid at the event on registration.

If you intend to enter multiple events, this registration must be completed for each event (as each one will be different under the Selection Policy).

All fees paid here contribute to the subsidisation of World Cup team entry fees.  Nomination fees are non-refundable, and athletes should note the additional penalties which may be imposed by the competition organiser for late entry and/or non-appearance (both of which are the responsibility of the fencer).

You should note carefully the requirements of the Selection Policy (Section 2.3) which make Team participation mandatory where a fencer competes in an individual event.  However, where there is a Teams event associated with an individual event, and there are less than three fencers registered one month before the event, the Team participation becomes optional (not compulsory) from that point onwards.

Please also note the provisions of the Selection Policy in relation to selection for FIE, EFC and FCA event (where the AFF does not make a call for nominations) - see Sections A4.27 to A4.31 (Individual) and Sections A4.39 to A4.41 (Team).

If you have problems registering, you should first confirm your affiliation status with your home state.

Athletes should check the relevant website (fie.org, eurofencing.info or www.asianfencing.com) 3 days after submitting a registration here to confirm that they have been entered for the correct event and weapon.  If the entry is incorrect (or missing) please email operations@fencing.org.au immediately.
