1.1. Eligible Machines: Motorcycles do not
need to be registered and must be suitable for MX or Enduro racing. Extra
machine will be allowed but the machine must go through machine examination in
the time specified.
1.2. Machine Numbering: Riders will be
issued with numbers at rider registration.
1.3. Minimum/Maximum Riders: The minimum
to constitute a class will be 3, classes may be altered to suit entries
received.

ENTRY FEES

Entry fees: $77.00
per rider + $15.00 Transponder
One Event Competition
Licence: $75.00 (if applicable,
available only to current JCP log book holders)
2.1. Closing date for entries: Entries
will close for Pre-Entry 3 days prior to the event.
A Cancellation fee of
$20.00 will be incurred to cover administration costs.
3.
MACHINE
EXAMINATION
Pits will open 6:00am. Machine examination from 7:00am to 8:35am.
All competitors must present themselves at registration with their MA
license, proof of current club membership, Current JCP Log Book.
Helmets and Boots will be inspected at machine examination. Full
riding gear will be inspected on start line prior to practice.
ALL MACHINES MUST
CONFORM TO THE GCR’s.
3.1. RIDERS
MEETING
A riders meeting will
be held 8:40 All riders must attend.
Escorted practice lap
at 9:00am racing will commence at the 10:00am
3.2. START METHOD
Start method will be a
dead engine Le Mans start at 10:00am
Starting class on loop
2 will be 85cc 9-u12 followed by 65cc 7-u9
Starting class on loop
3 will be 150cc s str/250cc 4 str followed by 125cc 13-u16 then 85cc 12-u16
There will be a one
(1) minute interval between class start times.
3.3. FINISH METHOD
The chequered flag will be waved after the 1.5 hours and a 30 minute
break will ensue, capacity classes will swap loops and another 1.0 hour loop
will be completely by the chequered flag being waved.
4.
THE COURSE
Loop 1 - 7km’s, Accompanied - Non Competitive
Loop 2 - 10km’s long, repeated over a 1.5 hours
duration, consisting of Natural Terrain Paddock and grass lands.
Loop 3 - 10km’s long, repeated over a 1.5 hours
duration, consisting of Natural Terrain Paddock and grass lands.
5.
RACE FORMAT
The Cross Country is
an Offroad, Natural Terrain continuous multi-lap event.
85cc 12-u16 and over
classes will begin on Loop 2 and complete as may laps as they can over a 1.5
hour, this loop will be completely then a 30 minute break will proceed. When
the break has concluded these classes will proceed to Loop 1.
85cc 9-u12 and under
classes will begin on Loop 1 and complete as may laps as they can over a 1.5
hour, this loop will be completely then a 30 minute break will proceed. When
the break has concluded these classes will proceed to Loop 2.
The Winner in each
class will be the riders who complete the most laps in the least amount of
elapsed race time.
If a rider has an
issue or concern with the race, the rider must discuss this with the Clerk of
Course during the event.
6.
AWARDS
Trophies: 1st,
2nd, and 3rd in each class where 3 teams or more entries
are received.
If there are less than
3 teams, then the classes may be combined with the approval of the Clerk of
Course.
7.
FIRST AID
First Aid personnel
will be in attendance.
It is a condition of entry that First Aid MUST
be accepted wherever deemed necessary by the attending first aides.
The Steward
of the day has the right to refuse further racing of a rider if first aide
requirements are not adhered to.
7.1.
Ambulance
Cover All
riders are reminded that ambulance cover is compulsory as a condition of your
licence.
8.
NO HASSLE
POLICY
Any rider or entrant
or person associated with the rider or entrant shall conduct themselves in an
orderly manner. A rider shall be responsible for his own conduct and that of
any person with whom he is associated. Anyone who abuses or threatens
personally or physically any official or any other person present at the event
shall lie deemed to be in Breach of this rule.
The Steward for a
breach of this rule may impose PENALTIES on the day of this meeting i.e.:
*Reprimand or warning.
*Fine. *Expulsion from the meeting. All breaches will be reported to MWA for
possible further action.
9.
GENERAL
RULES
9.1. No
alcoholic beverages allowed in pits or racing circuit.
9.2. No Smoking
in any area where re-fuelling is carried out
9.3. There will
be no riding of bikes other than on the track or designated lane way.
9.4. Dogs will
not be permitted (except guide dogs).
