TODAY'S SWIM IS A GO
SWIM COURSE: Approx 2.2km from Narrow Neck Beach to Balmain Reserve, Cheltenham Beach (see course image below)
CATEGORIES: Individual - Senior Male (15+), Senior Female (15+), Junior Male (14-), Junior Female(14-)
REGISTRATIONS: Register online by clicking the link on this page. Registrations will remain open until 4pm on Friday, May 4th unless we reach our maximum number (200) beforehand. There are NO swim-day registrations.
CONFIRMATIONS: Swim day confirmations are open from 7:45am at Narrow Neck Beach. For safety and regulation reasons, no-one will be permitted to swim without having confirmed at the desk. Please remember your BIB number or bring it along with you to help keep the confirmation queue short.
GEAR: Your gear will be transported in a secure trailer to Balmain Reserve for collection at the conclusion of your swim.
REQUIREMENTS: Wet suits are optional. Swim caps are compulsory.
RACE BRIEFING: A full race briefing will be given at Narrow Neck Beach at 9:15am.
START TIME: The Start Horn goes at 9.30am from the boat ramp at Narrow Neck Beach, Devonport
ENTRY FEES: Seniors $30 / Juniors $20
LATE FEES: Late Fees apply from Sunday April 29th 2018. Late Fee $10.
PAYMENTS: Credit Card Registrations are confirmed immediately via email. Check www.devoswim.org.nz closer to the date for race-day information, changes due to weather, and last minute advice

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE / CANCELLATION: In the event of a code RED from Safeswim.org.nz at Narrow Neck, the course will move to Balmain Reserve, Cheltenham to Windsor Reserve Beach, Devonport. Again, this course will be tide-assisted. Please note it is slightly longer at 2.5km. In the case of a course move, we will email all entrants the night before (4th May) at 7pm and also announce here on this page, on our website www.devoswim.org.nz and on https://www.facebook.com/devoswimnz
We will also be inspecting the course at 7am on the day to make sure it is safe. A final GO or NO GO announcement will be made on this website at 7am on 5th May.
