The 6th annual Cruise Whitsundays Airlie Beach Running Festival 2018 will be held on the weekend of 21st and 22nd July, a beautiful time of the year to be running in Airlie Beach. It is a great opportunity to extend your stay and holiday in paradise and explore all that The Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. The course runs along the foreshore from Port of Airlie to Cannonvale beach.
Saturday 21 July - Port of Airlie Precinct (opposite the Airlie Beach Saturday markets)
- 7am Airlie Beach Parkrun - Abell Point Marina South near Bohemian Raw Cafe
- 2-6pm Airlie Beach Running Festival Registration/Late entries/Race Pack collection
Sunday 22 July - Port of Airlie Precinct (opposite the Airlie Beach Saturday markets)
- 6.00am START - Airlie Beach Marathon
- 6.30am START – Cruise Whitsundays Half Marathon including Relay Teams
- 7.30am START – Mantra Hotels 10km Fun Run
- 9.30am START – GJ Gardner Homes 5km Fun Run and Corporate Team Challenge
- 10.30am START – Whitsunday Times 2km Junior Dash & Primary School Challenge (6-12 years)
- 11.00am START - 1km Kids Run/Walk (under 6 years)
- 11.30am Presentations
- 12.00pm END of all races
ATHLETICS NORTH QLD HALF MARATHON SERIES AND NORTH QLD MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIP
The Airlie Beach Marathon is again the North Queensland Marathon Championship.
The Cruise Whitsundays Half Marathon will earn you points in the Athletics North Queensland Half Marathon Series.

Your 2018 RACE BAG for the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km events will include the following:

HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: the included Free Singlet is only guaranteed for those who enter by close of early bird on 31st May. AFTER 31st May, SINGLETS ARE NOT GUARANTEED, So enter early and avoid disappointment.
The 2km and 1km finishers will be given a medal and a voucher.
