Fencing for Fun Introductory Competitions

This year QFA is introducing regular, developmental “for fun” events for younger fencers (8-14yrs), providing younger fencers an opportunity to learn some of the formalities and technicalities around competitive fencing. These competitions are designed to encourage participation, friendship and promote the foundations of good sportsmanship.

Fencers should bring their own equipment however QFA has a small amount of equipment available for use on the day. School fencers may be able to borrow equipment from their school.

Event start time is 11:00am.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing, closed in shoes and bring a water bottle.
