Women & Girls' Jogalong 40th anniversary

February Jogalong

The February Jogalong will be celebrating 40 years of the Jogalong. It is also supporting Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, through OvCan,a small ACT support group who strive to raise awareness of ovarian cancer symptoms and works closely with local General Practitioners to ensure women receive the best possible care if ovarian cancer is suspected. 

There are 3 events on the day:

  • a 6 km handicap event open to women and girls
  • a 3 km non-handicap open to women and girls and boys aged under 13 and
  • a 1.6 km handicap event open to girls and boys aged under 13.

All three events start at 8.00 am in Weston Park, near Prescott Lane (and the miniature train). All three courses are out and back along the bike path around Weston Park. Free childcare is available for children under 5. Further details are available on the Jogalong website.

Registration
Registration is free for members. The cost for non-members is $10 for adults and $5 for under 18s. Registration is also available on the day.

Donations to Ovcan
Personal donations to OvCan can also be made through this site - you do not have to be a participant to donate. Donations can also be made at the event.
