Welcome to the registration for the 2018 Tri It Community Triathlon. Follow the steps through the Registration Process and make payment.

Prices for the 2018 Event;

Individual (Highschool or Adult) - $30

Team of 3 (Highschool or Adult) - $50

Corporate team of 3 - $65   

There are two types of entry. Individual and Team. If you are entering as an individual you will need to complete the WHOLE event yourself. If you are entering as a team you will need to complete ONE PART (the swim, the bike or the run) of the event yourself with your team mates completing the other parts.   

This event will commence at 10.30am on Saturday 17th February 2018.   

The distances for the components of this event are:    

250m Swim / 10km Ride / 3km Run  

It is important to remember that this event is not a race. It is an opportunity for you to try the sport and enjoy sport with your colleagues/family/friends. There will be no timing so participants can take their time. we will have experienced assistants to help you and guide you as you  participate.

Throughout the registration process, you as the team captain will be asked invite other members of the team. Once you have entered all your relevant details you will come to a page which says Registration Details, Team Details and Team Members as headings. Under actions in the Team Members section click on Invite Team Member and fill in your team members EMAIL CONTACT details. This will allow your team mates to accept the event waiver and agree to the race. Once you have done this for all of the team members your registration will wait for other team members to agree but you can make payment and you are registered! We will notify you if your team members do not respond to the email invitation.

Please note that participants in this event must be in highschool or an adult. Primary school children from grades 3 - 6 are permitted to participate in the TriKids event. You can register for TriKids through the Devonport Triathlon Website.

On Saturday 17th February 2018 make your way to Registration Headquarters (to check-in) before the event. Registration Headquarters is located at the Devonport Surf Life Saving Club. (It is advisable that you check-in with your team to make the process easier.) You will be given race kits with numbers inside which will need to be pinned to your top and you will also have these numbers written on your arm and thigh.

The cyclist of the team will need to check their bike into transition. Individuals will also need to check their bike into transition.

Please follow instructions of the staff in fluro vests and if you have questions please ask them.

Then make your way over to the marshalling area and wait for further instructions over the P.A system.  

It is a condition of the race that safety precautions be undertaken and therefore helmets and appropriate bicycle riding clothing are compulsory and bikes need to be raceworthy. YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR BIKE IS RACEWORTHY AT Derrico Cycles IN THE DAYS LEADING UP TO THE EVENT. Bikes which are deemed unraceworthy will not be permitted to be used in the race.
