Dear Club,
All fencing clubs in NSW are invited to be affiliated with NSWFA in one of two categories.
Affiliated Club - This membership is for clubs with 10 or more 'competitive' fencers who are Affiliated Members of NSWFA and entitled to enter NSW and Australian fencing competitions.
Registered Club - This membership is for clubs with fewer than 10 Affiliated Members of NSWFA. Typically, these will be start-up clubs or small clubs in metro and regional areas.
The benefit to clubs of affiliation with NSWFA is:
+ Insurance cover (public liability, professional indemnity and personal injury) for club members, coaches and club officials.
+ A 'Certificate of Currency' verifying insurance cover which is often required by the owners of rented venues. A Certificate of Currency can be provided to Affiliated Clubs on request to: secretary@nswfencing.org.au
+ A listing on the NSWFA website giving contact and other details about your club.
+ An invitation to participate in inter-club competitions hosted by NSWFA.

It is important for insurance, government grant and official reporting purposes for NSWFA to have a complete picture of fencing participation in our State. If you don't know the exact number for each question, please make a reasonable estimate as of the end of the previous year.
