Welcome to the XTERRA Waihi Trail Challenge, a stunning trail running and walking event in the unforgettable Karangahake Gorge.

Breath-taking riverside trails alongside the natural gorge, historic railway tracks (complete with tunnels!) and all wrapped up in native bush makes for some of the best off road trails in the country!

Multiple Event Distance options from 8km to Marathon, plus a kids run for our Trail Tigers, means there’s something for all ages and abilities.
