2018 Neverfail Australia Day Fun Run

Registrations are now closed. Late entries attract an additional fee of $5 per entrant and can only be received at the venue on race day. If registering late, allow time on the day before race start time to register. Race start will not be delayed.

The Event:
This is the 25th running of the Bunbury Australia Day Fun Run conducted by the Bunbury Runners Club Inc and is designed to be a Fun Run/Walk for ALL. The BRC welcomes the support of our returning Naming Rights sponsor for 2018 "Neverfail" and extend a huge thankyou to all our other event sponsors that help make this event happen. The course is around the scenic Leschenault Inlet and joins into the cities Australia Day Celebrations.
 
Venue:
Starting at approx 7.30am opposite the Bunbury Entertainment Centre on Blair Street, the run travels alongside Koombana Drive, east along the Koombana Drive walk trail to Richmond Street, onto Austral Parade, past the Parade Hotel then onto the cycleway back to the the finish point near the Pat Usher Memorial. 10km runners get to enjoy another lap.
 
General:
  • Electronic timing will be used for the running elements of this event, however this will only apply to entries received prior to the closing date of Sunday 21 January 2017.
  • Race numbers are to be collected at the venue on race day prior to the start so allow time for this. 
  • A percentage of the proceeds will be donated by the Bunbury Runners Club for charitable causes.
  • Award presentations will be conducted as soon as possible after the last competitor has completed the course and the results are finalised.
  • Spot prizes will be drawn using race numbers immediately following the return of the last paticipant, however participants must be present to be eligible to claim any prizes on offer.
  • Through the generous support of our sponsors, all official entries will receive a FREE POWERADE as they finish the event whilst stocks last. 
  • As an alternative a free bottle of "Neverfail" premium water will also be offered to finishers, along with fresh fruit donated by Pete's Fruit and Veg.
